Just came back from a place where I was opportuned to watch a mother’s undiluted love for her dear child. Our ‘child’ is forty-something years old.
A child will always remain a child to her mother.
This child has been sick for months. But giving up on her is the last thing on the mother’s mind. I believe her not giving up is doing a lot to sustain the child.
When the treatment bills are so high, the mother will rather not eat so that the bills will be settled. If our child is feeling cold, the mother will rather be ‘wrapper-less’.
Wonder what it would be like if men were the ones having babies. We might not be more than a few hundreds on earth.
Mothers are always there for their children. Even when the children feel they are older than being pestered by these nice elderly women, they stubbornly cling to their love – their children.
I have seen situations where women withstand hardships in marriages just because of their children.
However, how many children reciprocate their mothers’ love for them. If you are lucky to have a mother who is alive, say a big thank you to her.
If you don’t stay together, the phone is there!
