Lagos is a state after my heart.
Lagos could be expensive for the JJC, Johnny Just Come, as new comers to the state are called. The best way to identify a new comer to Lagos is to allow them get down from a moving molue.
When this whistle blower issue started, I knew in my heart of hearts that when it comes to Lagos, we go hear wen!
There is no removing the fact that Lagos is home to the good, the bad and the ugly. Whatever is done in Lagos becomes fashion for the whole country. Even for the countries in West Africa, if not beyond.
Like I said, Lagos could be expensive. However, it is also the place where you could buy the cheapest of things. That is, if you’re familiar with the terrain.
For instance, could you believe that an adult could still be fed with two hundred naira in Lagos? And, this is not a case of eating without meat.
So you see, when a miserly sum of twenty five million was found at the Kaduna Airport, I waited with bated breath. This is because I knew that if such an amount could be found in ordinary Kaduna, Lagos’ own harvest would be much better.
Why?
Lagos does her things with style. And here we are. As far as I’m concerned we’ve not seen nothing yet. It was first 250 million, then about 490 million and the 15 billion. We should still discover more.
