When people in government are doing the right thing, I don’t know why Nigerians always refuse to praise them. I’ve always said that if there’s another chance to come to the earth, I want to come as a Yoruba.
The reason is that the Yoruba culture is so superb. As a Yorubaman, it is unthinkable for someone to do me a favour and I will fail to prostrate for the kind person.
So on behalf of all Yoruba and all Nigerians, I’m thanking all those who made it possible for the would-be pilgrims to have a subsidised rate for their basic travel allowance, BTA.
I read that the BTA of pilgrims will be #200 to the dollar. The authorities have really tried. I won’t stop praising them because the exchange rate is #300 to the dollar for all others.
You see, when the Muslims go to Saudi Arabia and the Christians go to Israel, they bring back a lot of prayers. And, prayer is the key to the good things of life.
Anybody that hates prayers should hire people that will be cursing him everyday. When he does that for a week, he’ll see the difference.
So, prayers must come before industrial raw materials. It must come before the payment of the school fees of students who are studying abroad.
Even the Malian president showed the effective power of prayers recently. He asked the Malian national Assembly to pray for our President.
