The senator who, I don’t want to dignify by mentioning his name, assaulted a woman has come out with some defence. According to him, his younger sister was beaten to a pulp earlier in that shop.
Hear, hear!
He even said that incident happened before he became a senator.
It’s one thing to act and explain the cause of that act. Unfortunately, it’s another thing entirely to judge the case as clinically as possible.
The senator has succeeded in saying the people who voted him in made a very grave mistake. How could they have elected a man that would so unscrupulously take the law into his own hands as their representative in the highest law-making half of government?
