Looking at the global village, I can’t but refer to a Yoruba saying that, if one doesn’t have the means, they dare not inquire about their father’s death.
Where’re those that will normally, after a comparatively small disaster in any corner of the world, be all over the social media announcing their safety in that particular corner of the world?
The worst situation is a disaster occurring in one continent and people who are not in that particular continent announcing they are safe from the cataclysm on that particular continent. I tend to think Nigerians are some of the guiltiest.
So, is it that nobody is safe from coronavirus?
Anyway, I tend to think the legs have been complaining about walking a person to their goodness and rather than praising the legs, we use hands to show our appreciation by giving handshakes.
But now, with the advent of coronavirus, we have started giving the legs their due importance by doing legshakes.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some dance steps come out emphasizing legshakes.
That would, of course, be for those who can dance!
Indeed, the fear of coronavirus is the beginning and end of wisdom!!
