I once said, ordinarily, people would think Lagos politics is so advanced that Lagosians can’t just be cowed by any wannabe.
Yeah, this may be true!
But I’m afraid if not irritated to admit the fact that Lagosians themselves are generally wannabes serving a life sentence under Bourdillon.
I understand it’s as bad as if the ex-governor is sleeping, Lagos will be said to be sleeping.
Lagos could be said to be the nerve center of Nigeria. In fact, it would be correct to say Lagos is Nigeria.
If anyone bothers to look closely, the problem of Nigeria could be said to be the landlord of Lagos.
And yet, people have refused to think. Not because they don’t have the ability to. It’s because they want to conform as it might soon be their turn to ‘jeun soke’.
