I’m not a fuji fan. But then, neither do I go about with my eyes closed nor my ears blocked.
Was it not in January 2013 that the late Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister released an album titled, ‘E Sinmi Rascality’?
The title of the album could be said to be addressing Nigerian politicians of today.
E duro na o, did someone, somewhere curse the led and the leaders of Nigeria with empowerment?
Or, are we so mentally poor that we’re unable to think?
We’ve seen various types of empowerment in Nigeria. Flip flops, ludo game, kulikuli, gari in pure water sachets, wooden bridges and so on.
The painful aspect is that what they spend in terms of publicity and entertainment is actually much more than the cost of the empowerment materials.
And, since we’re fools, we go and take all this nonsense.
Okay!
Maybe it’s our poverty mentality that has blinded our sense of reasoning.
Abegi, reasonable people should not take any empowerment that’s not worth it’s salt!
