Are You Back? – Adewale Sobowale

Those terrible folks are back from the Friday Jumaat prayers, aren’t they?

While there, they must have told Allah they wrenched life out of yet another infidel.

And, their Allah must have counted that as another plus for them. When they get to heaven, the number of virgins would have reached 70+++

I really wonder what kind of beasts they are. To call them beasts would even be a generous overstatement.

They are, definitely, not humans. In the same vein, I suspect they are not living things.

To assume justice will be done in Deborah’s case will be asking for too much.

Just too much!

Why I believe so is because it won’t be the first time such will happen in northern Nigeria and the miscreants got away with their acts, not because some of them were not apprehended, but because they were set free by the system.

In fact, they weren’t told to sin no more, they were actually encouraged to kill more kaferi.

May the soul of Deborah and others who were mindlessly killed in the name of religion not rest until their thoughtless murderers die a ,more painful death.

Having said that, I think the constitution of Nigeria needs to be reexamined.

In the first instance, why do we have human rights when people are, obviously, being prevented to exercise those rights in some parts of the country.

In this case, freedom of belief and the right to propagate such belief was tampered with. Not to talk of the right to life.

Also, should the Sharia system of justice apply to people who aren’t Muslims? The same Sharia that condemns alcoholism doesn’t frown against northern states collecting VAT from proceeds of alcohol.

Maybe a good question to ask presidential contestants will be how they intend handling the Sharia system of justice.

How I wish the nation Nigeria would stop being a joke?
