When we look around us, it’s tough for some to determine whether it’s the Nigerian government or the people we can call abiku!
And those reading my scribblings could bet my conclusion is the people.
I don’t understand why we must be so much entangled, like an umbilical cord, to the aprons of the so-called ruling mafia.
I don’t see any reason why we should sell ourselves so cheaply every four years. Even if we wanted to sell ourselves, I believe we ought to have put a lot of price on our various heads.
But, we’re showing we’re so cheap by selling our birthrights for a morsel of porridge.
That’s why the people we elect(?) hardly respect our sensibilities. They believe they’ve bought our conscience for the next four years, and nothing could prevent them from doing whatever they want to our destiny.
I heard someone close to the seat of power declare Mr Buhari a blessing to Nigeria and the world.
That’s true!
We have now realized that we should not allow his types to emerge as rulers again!!
