65 Days After… – Adewale Sobowale

I can see that when some unpatriotic youths gathered to create a ‘peaceful’ unrest, they were only being foolish.

Maybe they were being used by some subservient elements who lost out in the last elections. If not so, it shouldn’t have been a case of using#endsars as a pathway to air their grievances.

SARS was a very good arm of the police force. That’s why we were quick to replace it with SWIFT.

Now, some communities have been pleading with government to reintroduce SARS. However, just to please ‘their’ democratic values, we have refrained from so doing.

Buy you’ll agree with me that this government has eminent democratic credentials.

The first task of any government, either democratic or not, is security. Even the dead are being protected.

You all see that jobs, transportation, electric power, and so on are all in abundance. Nobody is complaining.

Another way to know there’s no complaint is the fact that everyone is happy. If people aren’t happy, will market people at Balogun be dancing?

It all shows our government is doing very well!
