At least, we now know Sowore and Dasuki are free, thanks to the tacit threat by the US.
Those who are familiar with my posts will know I have not at any time said suspects should not be tried. However, I still insist on the obedience of court orders by ALL parties.
If I were in control of the government, I wouldn’t have bothered my head with a Sowore. In fact, I would have given him and his supporters adequate protection in their REVOLUTIONNOW protest.
However, the people thinking for this government need to have their heads examined. I mean, for them to have assumed that a person who doesn’t have the means to procure instruments of coercion could brew a revolution is simply laughable.
More laughable is another charge against Sowore, that of insulting the president. If you don’t want to be insulted, the simple thing is to refrain from holding public office.
But methinks most of the blame should go to those who know what is right and had, for one reason or the other, refused to say it. I’m referring to those who supported the detention of people in spite of court orders!
