11 years ago, precisely on July 8, 2013, Toronto witnessed more than a month’s rainfall in just hours.
CBC reports that a similar thing happened on Tuesday, with the rain starting around 9 a.m. and catching many commuters off guard. Shortly after the rain, there were power outages in the city.
The popular Union Station, the Don Valley Parkway, and city streets were flooded, and GO Transit temporarily halted service.
WOW! In this same Toronto! We didn’t even get 2inches of rain that day!
