Moses Olaiya a.k.a. Baba Sala could not have performed better than Nigeria’s national assembly. The law making houses have been turned into a home theater providing horror comedies for all and sundry.
Rather than being in their usual state of lethargy the (dis)honorable members have turned themselves into providing comic reliefs for Nigerians.
This is certainly a great development because most Nigerians lack the resources to go entertain themselves.
What with the two time governor turned minister who the acting chairman of NDDC accused of seeking sexual gratification from her? I mean the act that led to ifoti oloyi (resounding slap), which one other former assembly member described as ‘tas and taus’.
The minister himself stated that most of the contracts were given to members of the house. The house not wanting to look disgraceful has asked for a list.
What about the former aspirant to Kogi gubernatorial seat asking questions from a former governor and minister? That one is a case of two elephants fighting.
Of course, the ground will suffer!
But then, of what benefits are all these to the common man? Do they not all amount to much ado about nothing?
Sorry, they’ve succeeded in providing comedy for the people, at the people’s expense, of course!
