A certain Nigerian ‘big boy’ was recently arrested for kidnapping.
In the first instance, although he allegedly confessed, that can only be used as evidence in a properly constituted court of law.
It is for the courts to determine whether he is guilty or not.
Second, people have been fast to link him to a certain political party.
Again, I wouldn’t consider that to be right. All political parties have “the good, the bad and the ugly.”
But then, it’s my fervent belief that if we the people, should “shine our eyes” and refuse to be bribed, we could prevent the entry of these criminals into our political parties.
Let’s start contributing money and other resources to support our political parties. This will stop us from looking up to godfathers to bankroll our political parties!
