For the Western worlders, the few days of sunny moments are taken as a treasure. This shows in their mode of dressing and overall behaviour.
It’s like some of them want to stay aloof of even the tiniest clothing item as long as the summer lasts. This is when they can prove they have fantastic skins and they do flaunt them. It’s like they want to show the world that they’ve got it. And by all means they’ll flaunt it.
And figures too!
Most of them put on the skimpiest of briefs which they call shorts. On top, it’s like they are wearing nothing.
They even do sun tanning. That’s the process of being in the sun till it changes your colour. Others will stay in the midday sun.
But I used to believe exposure to sun rays is dangerous. I know how much I happen to have been caned for staying in the hot sun. Not for these people. They never have fever due to exposing themselves to the sun.
In fact, most of their relaxation is done during summer. That’s why you can’t play with summer holiday with a European.
While they are looking for fun everywhere, from museums, to places of interest and even bars, Africans are going to lessons, even in Europe.
Do Africans know that there are various types of education? Do they know that book knowledge constitutes only a bit of education?
Sightseeing, mentorship and practical experience do much more in educating the younger ones.
Africans hardly value what they have. If the notorious weather changes that happen in the Western World had been occurring in Africa, we may possibly blame the anger of the gods. Or if all these natural occurrences like cyclones and hurricanes had been happening in Africa, what would we have done?
I guess we need such things to put us on course!
