So? – Adewale Sobowale

I won’t ever forget a lesson I learnt in my adult years. There is this man, who, whenever any of his wards flunked a promotion examination, he wouldn’t be annoyed with them. Instead, he would take them to a classy eatery and have them order whatever they wanted.

He himself would order what he wanted to eat. While both of them were eating, the father would try to build up the youngster’s confidence.

He would give the child a poser. He would ask the child to assume he was riding a horse and he fell from the horse, what was he going to do?

Of course, the child would answer that he would mount the horse again. The father would then proceed to give the child a pep talk. He would encourage him and assure him that not only could he pass his examinations, he could pass in flying colours.

As would be expected, all those children are doing well now!

So, what’s that problem that’s making life difficult for you? You might even be thinking it’s better to end it all by committing suicide.

Did you know success is sweetest when, even your closest friends and relatives have lost all hope on you?

Who is that pastor, Alfa or fortune seeker who has told you that you can’t ever make it?

Ask him if he’s God.

Whatever problem you have could be taken to God by someone. And that someone has to be you. My bible tells me God made humans in his own image

If he had made us in his own image, then is it not logical to believe he gave us the same ability? But many of us wandered away when things were rosy.

So, immediately we had a change of fortunes, we started looking for prophets forgetting that we could be our own prophets.

I don’t believe God has gone away from anybody’s life. We just need to seek His face.

And He is gracious and just enough to answer us!
