9 UN staff to be sacked for alleged involvement in Oct. 7 attack on Israel!

The United Nations has announced that it will fire nine staff members working for its Palestine U.N. Relief and Works Agency. An investigation revealed the affected staff may have been involved in last year’s Hamas-led attacks on Israel.

Several UNRWA personnel allegedly took part in the Oct. 7 attack that killed 1,200 people, with another 250 taken hostage in Gaza, according to an investigation by the UN Office of Oversight Services.

Since 1949, UNRWA has been helping Palestinian refugees by providing them with food, medicine, education, healthcare, and social services.

The United Nations acknowledged that “involvement in these attacks would constitute a major betrayal of trust.” Ii, however, pointed out the importance of remembering the “huge number” of UNRWA staff taking enormous risks for months.
